Ray Manzarek, one of the more brilliant musicians of the 20th Century, has died at age 74. His music will never be over.

George Watsky’s new album Cardboard Castles has made me laugh, cry and rage, and I haven’t finished listening to it yet. It’s currently #1 on the iTunes Hip Hop charts and #9 on Top Albums. You should get it.

Soulive is bringing back Snowlive to The Crystal Bay Club this winter. I haven’t see the dates or guest lineup yet but last year they brought Karl Denson, Matisyahu, Luther Dickinson, Anders Osborne, Ivan Neville and George Porter Jr. This show was recorded at the State Theater in Portland, ME.
