Seth Wescott and Nate Holland Win Telluride Team SBX 

Wescott is from Sugarloaf in Maine where I grew up skiing and Holland is from Squaw Valley where I ski now.

JT Holmes and Timy Dutton parachuted onto Squaw Valley’s upper mountain on November 13th for some pre-season turns. Of course, they brought their GoPros.

The Rahlves’ Banzai Tour is back for 2013! This event is so fun to shoot but can be challenging. Last year at Sugar Bowl it was nuking down snow and blowing like hell but they ran it anyway. BANZAI!

I was out shooting at Squaw Valley this morning. They opened just for today after 3 feet of snow in the last few days. It looked really good but since I was under the gun with multiple deadlines for this footage, I didn’t get to take any turns:(

I’m excited to ski tomorrow but even more excited for my first apres ski Beer & Handroll of the season at Mamasake! 

When I went to bad last night it was fall, when I woke up it was winter! This is video I shot in Truckee, Squaw Valley and Tahoe City between 6:45 and 11 am today.

Winter weather is on the way to Lake Tahoe! Up to 18” expected along the crest with snow levels down to lake level. It looks like a pretty wet storm which is what we need to get the ground good and saturated before snow starts to really accumulate. We’ll be back on the slopes in no time!
